West Monroe Partners, a management and technology consulting firm, said it will hire 500 employees in Chicago over the next five years, reports Chicago Tribune.
Nationwide, the firm plans to bring on an additional 500 employees, with 35 to 40 percent dedicated to the technology sector. The company plans to hire through acquisitions and may recruit recent college graduates.
West Monroe Partners' biggest practices are in healthcare, technology, and mergers and acquisitions. The company currently employs 600 people in its downtown Chicago headquarters and 1,000 others nationwide.
