Vermont Health Connect, the state's online health insurance exchange, has been temporarily taken offline, according to a VT Digger report.
State officials said the website will be offline to allow for repairs and data security improvements, saying it is a "proactive step" to enhance security and usability and not a response to a security threat.
Though state officials did not say how long the website will be offline, they said it will be back online for the next open enrollment period beginning Nov. 15, according to the report.
