Taylor Healthcare has centralized its iMedConsent platform to the Department of Veteran Affairs' enterprise cloud system.
VA hospitals had previously been using iMedConsent independently, Taylor Healthcare said in a July 6 news release. This deal to migrate the platform to the VA's Microsoft Azure cloud will centralize the system to improve security and eliminate redundant hardware.
IMedConsent is a documentation system that digitizes patient consent before surgical procedures.
