Preferred EHR vendors vary by market share. AmerianEHR, a partner of the American College of Physicians, conducted a survey to determine the top EHR products used by solo practices.
The survey collected responses from 1,366 physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Here are the top 10 EHRs by market share for solo practices.
- Practice Fusion: 15 percent
- eClinicalworks: 9 percent
- Epic: 5 percent
- AmazingCharts: 5 percent
- NextGen: 4 percent
- Infor-Med Praxis: 4 percent
- Valant Premium Psychiatric Suite: 4 percent
- eMDs Solution Series: 3 percent
- Cerner: 3 percent
- Allscripts: 3 percent
Forty-five percent of respondents indicated using another EHR.
