Johnson & Johnson Innovation has announced plans to create a new incubator for life science startups under its Janssen Labs, to be housed at the Texas Medical Center's Innovation Institute in Houston.
The J-Labs facility will be 30,000 square feet and will have the capacity to accommodate up to 50 life science startups.
"The continued demand for our J-Labs model fueled our decision to expand with J-Labs @ TMC, which furthers our goal of helping entrepreneurs advance science with the potential to become transformational solutions for patients," said Melinda Richter, head of J-Labs, in a release.
