The Sequoia Project partnered with Document Storage Systems to launch a DSS Direct Messaging pilot program on its nationwide eHealth Exchange data sharing network.
The pilot launched on the eHealth Exchange, an initiative of The Sequoia Project, will offer a new option for exchange among participating federal agencies, 70,000 medical groups and others.
Document Storage Systems provides health IT solutions to federal, private and public healthcare organizations. The pilot program will enhance data sharing with federal agencies and increase their ability to coordinate care with community health facilities.
"DSS Direct can immediately open a new channel for care coordination," said Mark Byers, president and CEO of DSS. "Allowing more healthcare providers to securely share relevant health information."
DSS partners with Surescripts, a government trust anchor bundle HISP for its direct messaging platform.
