Stanford (Calif.) Health Care has partnered with venture capitalist GE Ventures to launch a new digital health company.

The company, called Evidation Health, is an independent company with the goal of improving health outcomes using evidence-based digital medicine, according to a news release.

Evidation Health seeks to use health outcomes data with new approaches to predictive analytics to identify and use the most effective, efficient patient management strategies and interventions.

"Our company has the core capabilities to make precision digital medicine a reality," said Deborah Kilpatrick, Evidation Health CEO, in the release. "We envision a digital health-enabled future where clinical interventions can be customized and concentrated in ways that maximize clinical and economic benefit for payers, providers and, most importantly, patients."
