Renton, Wash.-based Providence St. Joseph Health will launch Microsoft Azure as well as some of the technology giant's artificial intelligence tools to help manage the health system's electronic health data.
Three notes:
1. The multiyear partnership will aim to integrate Microsoft's cloud, AI and research technologies with Providence St. Joseph Health's clinical expertise.
2. Providence St. Joseph will deploy certain emerging technologies from Microsoft at one of the health system's Seattle-based hospital affiliates.
3. In addition to transitioning to Microsoft Azure systemwide, Providence St. Joseph Health clinicians will also gain access to Microsoft Teams, which will allow them to streamline messaging, video meetings and conferencing on a single platform.
