The New York City Regional Electronic Adoption Center for Health is expanding its partnership with meaningful use attestation software SA Ignite to reach 500 more providers.
NYC REACH is a partnership between the NYC Department of Public Health and Mental Hygiene's Primary Care Information Project and the Fund for Public Health in New York, Inc. that works with physicians to adopt technology to improve patient outcomes, according to a news release. It has employed SA Ignite programs since 2012 to spread meaningful use attestation, piloting programs in 2012 and 2013 to assist providers in implementing an EHR system.
SA Ignite provides a tool called MU ASSISTANT that streamlines the process of attestation, listing the requirements and regulations in a user-friendly interface. It tracks eligibility, attestation history, payment year, stage of attestation and delivers scorecards and financial reports.
"NYC REACH is doing great things for the physicians of New York City," said Tom S. Lee, CEO, founder and board member of SA Ignite, in the news release. "We understand and completely align with their vision of utilizing health IT to create efficiencies in pay-for-performance programs such as meaningful use."
