Nebraska Medicine selects Epic's Healthy Planet population health platform

Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine plans to implement Epic's Healthy Planet, the vendor's population health platform, to help the system's clinically integrated network collaborate on care statewide.

Nebraska Health Partners, the clinically integrated network of Nebraska Medicine, is comprised of 1,100 physicians, all of whom will now be able to gather patient information across multiple data sources and access better decision support.

"Improving care is no longer about what one physician can do; it's about what we can do as a community of caregivers with better technology," Michael Ash, MD, chief transformation officer at Nebraska Medicine, said in a statement.
