McKesson on April 3 completed its acquisition of CoverMyMeds, a Columbus, Ohio-based provider of electronic prior authorization solutions.
McKesson and CoverMyMeds entered the acquisition agreement on Jan. 24. At the time, McKesson said it planned to acquire CoverMyMeds for roughly $1.1 billion, or $0.9 billion net of incremental cash tax benefits.
In January, CoverMyMeds said it would continue to operate as an independent business unit under its existing leadership team after the transaction closed.
