Massachusetts General to launch telemedicine services for second opinions

Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital announced plans to launch a telemedicine service offering second opinions to patients this fall.

Sarah Sossong, director of Mass General TeleHealth, announced the new service at the mHealth + Telehealth World conference in Boston, according to MedCity News.

The still unnamed service will offer second opinions in multiple specialties, according to the report.
