Leidos to present at HIMSS15

Federal and commercial health IT provider Leidos will showcase a variety of its technologies at the HIMSS15 Annual Conference & Exhibition from April 12 – 16 in Chicago.

Its display in Booth 1661 will feature optimization services, implementation consulting and IT strategic planning and professional services in meaningful use, ICD-10 and revenue cycle management. Experts will also be available to discuss health IT in support of federal health clients, including the Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs and Health and Human Services. The booth will also host a raffle for a Garmin vivofit, which will be drawn every hour during the exhibit hall hours, according to a news release.

Leidos will also sponsor the Cybersecurity Command Center in Booth 8175, which offers security challenge exercises including a security quiz, education and a capture the flag game in which participants compete to protect a virtual hospital system from cyberattackers, according to the news release.

Representatives will appear at the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase at Booth 2084 to demonstrate its Data Exchange Framework simulating a Data Acquisition Broker receiving, transforming and parsing death registry records utilized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention National Vital Statistics System. Experts will discuss standards-based HIEs as well, according to the news release.

Leidos executives will participate in a sponsored "Lunch & Learn Session" on April 14 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and in a panel discussion about using big data to drive physician adoption of health IT on April 16 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
