Kyruus, a provider of healthcare search and scheduling solutions, is joining forces with IBM.
The collaboration will integrate IBM's Watson Virtual Agent with Kyruus ProviderMatch. The ProviderMatch offers users smart search and appointment booking capabilities. The integration of the Watson Virtual Agent aims to enhance self-service healthcare consumer experiences as well as drive patient acquisition and operational efficiency.
The integration will enable health systems to use chatbots to match patients and providers. Patients will also have access to a live human agent when needed. Patients will have access to provider expertise and appointment data, and they will be able to cancel and reschedule appointments.
"Healthcare consumers today are demanding the same level of convenience and automation that has become table stakes in other industries," said Julie Yoo, chief product officer at Kyruus.
