Jefferson Health rolls out digital platform to monitor patients' mental health

Jefferson Health has partnered with NeuroFlow to launch a digital platform helping clinicians remotely track and treat patients' mental health, the Philadelphia-based organizations announced July 9.

The app-based service allows clinicians to assign surveys, set reminders and encourage mindfulness and meditation sessions for patients, who can share updates about their mental health and, ultimately, become more engaged in their overall wellbeing. Based on the information shared, clinicians can adjust patients' treatment plans and intervene as necessary.

The NeuroFlow platform will be rolled out to 20 Jefferson Health locations, across primary care, OB/GYN and behavioral health departments. Jefferson Health will be the first academic health center to collaborate with NeuroFlow, according to Stephen K. Klasko, MD, CEO of the health system; the platform is already in use by more than 450 other medical professionals across the U.S.
