IBM shuts down NY campus

Approximately 2,000 IBM employees will soon be commuting to a new office as the company closes its Somers, N.Y.-based campus, according to The Wall Street Journal.

IBM plans to sell the campus, which was built in 1989 to house 2,700 employees. By March 2017, the current Somers employees will be transferred to IBM's campus in North Castle, N.Y.
