Hackensack (N.J.) University Health Network plans to introduce telemedicine services within its health network through the ConvenientCare Now platform.
The health system partnered with Boston-based telemedicine company American Well to develop the platform, which will be available through smartphones, tablets and online video beginning in the first quarter of this year.

ConvenientCare Now by Hackensack University Health Network is more convenient, affordable and efficient for patients," said Robert Garrett, president and CEO of Hackensack University Health Network.
