Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Health has selected Innovaccer as its preferred cloud provider.
The 12-hospital system with facilities in Indiana and Illinois will move its patient records across its employed physician network and affiliated providers to the Innovaccer cloud, according to a Jan. 9 press release Innovaccer shared with Becker's.
This includes the health system's Epic EHR, non-Epic community based EHRs, claims, Medicare Shared Savings Program, Indiana Health Information Exchange, practice management systems, Surescripts systems and consumer data.
By integrating all its data into a unified patient record, Franciscan aims to use advanced analytics to identify leading indicators that can help it better manage risk and care quality, according to the press release.
Additionally, the move will allow the health system to stratify patient populations based on risk and will help improve its Medicare risk adjustment and quality scores.
