Commure, a health tech startup focused on connecting apps and data used by physicians and patients during the appointment process, named Ashwini Zenooz, MD, its new CEO, the company said in an Oct. 5 news release.
Dr. Zenooz joined Commure in May as president and CMO. She succeeds Brent Dover, who has led the company since 2019 and will remain an adviser.
Before Commure, Dr. Zenooz most recently served as CMO at Salesforce, where she led the company's global healthcare and life sciences division. Her clinical background also includes working as CMO of the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she previously oversaw EHR modernization efforts.
