Vendor performance monitor KLAS has announced its 2014 Best in KLAS award winners.
Verona, Wis.-based Epic Systems led other vendors as a category leader, being named the Best Overall Software Suite and the Best Overall Physician Practice Vendor.
Epic also was named Best Acute Care EMR, Ambulatory EMR for practices with between 11 and 75 physicians and with over 75 physicians. The IT giant also was selected as the best in HIE, laboratory, patient accounting and patient management, patient portals, practice management for over 75 physicians and surgery management.
Epic competitor Cerner, based in Kansas City, Mo., was named the best in ambulatory EMR for practices between 11 and 75 physicians, application hosting and global (non-U.S.) patient administration systems.
Impact Advisors was named Best Overall IT Services Firm.
