Madison, Wis.-based Datica, a cloud platform for digital health applications, published its Digital Health Success Framework to guide digital health developers as they launch startups.
The framework focuses on topics such as cloud infrastructure, data exchange and compliance patterns. The guidance is based on insights from a range of companies, including single-founder startups and hospital providers.
Datica says its framework, which spans a four-year timeline, will help digital health developers understand business risks and benchmark their progress.
"Unlike other industries where a pathway to success is straightforward, the healthcare industry has unique considerations not found elsewhere," said Mark Olschesky, chief data officer at Datica.
