Toronto, Canada-based Humber River Hospital is building a command center that uses predictive analytics to streamline patient care delivery.
Humber River Hospital is developing the 4,500-square-foot command center with GE Healthcare Partners. The center will use advanced analytics and engineering to improve clinical, operational and patient outcomes. For example, it will feature a GE Wall of Analytics, which processes real-time data from sources to alert staff about various events, such as delayed patient care and unbalanced physician workloads.
Humber River Hospital plans to open the command center by the end of 2017.
