Chico, Calif.-based Enloe Medical Center is instituting an enterprise IT platform from Hewlett Packard Enterprise subsidiary Aruba that connects its Epic EHR and thousands of devices.
The move will double the hospital's branch networking capacity at each of its 30 locations, helping manage nearly 30,000 connected devices.
"Aruba ensures we can resiliently connect all of our healthcare providers, their devices, and our critical applications, like our extensive Epic electronic medical record implementation, all of the time — guaranteeing access to whatever our staff needs, whenever they need it, so they can concentrate on treating their patients," said Christopher Webb, director of technology for Enloe, in a Jan. 30 Aruba news release.
Enloe also plans to adopt automated, artificial intelligence-powered IT operations through Aruba.
