Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts announced this month the addition of the Learn to Live program, an online resource providing support for anxiety, depression, insomnia and overall emotional health improvements, to its Emerging Solutions digital health portfolio.
Learn to Live will be available to employers with 500 or more Blue Cross members beginning Jan. 1, 2020. The online service offers self-directed behavioral health programs featuring interactive multimedia content for education and skill-building and both peer-to-peer and one-on-one coaching support, all through confidential, 24/7 access to the Learn to Live platform via computer or smartphone.
"We believe an individual's emotional health is as important as their physical health, and we are committed to helping members get the support they need," Ken Duckworth, MD, BCBS of Massachusetts' senior medical director of behavioral health, said in the announcement. "We know many of our members struggle to manage daily stresses and challenges in their lives and that our employer customers are looking for new solutions to help their employees. The Learn to Live programs offer members another path to improve their emotional well-being in a way that's convenient and accessible for them."
