Arlington Heights, Ill.-based Amita Health is implementing a patient-provider matching and online patient appointment scheduling solution from DocASAP.
The solution will allow patients to book or reschedule appointments online. It includes filters that allow patients to search by location, insurance, physician specialty and more. Additionally, it includes built-in appointment reminders and an option for providers to gather pre-appointment data. The solution also allows patients to access appointment information via insurance provider resources, such as websites or applications.
The data gathered by the solution offers insights into patient behavior, which providers can relate to existing workflows.
Amita Health includes nine hospitals, 80-plus clinics and outpatient facilities as well as a physician provider network of more than 3,000 physicians. The Amita Health Medical Group includes more than 500 multispecialty employed physicians and associate practitioners.
