Radiology and medical imaging leaders are interested in implementing various technologies at their respective organizations, including artificial intelligence, analytics and cloud architecture, according to a recent Reaction Data report.
For its Deconstructed PACS vs. Single Vendor report, Reaction Data gathered input from more than 900 organizations about their thoughts on radiology IT solutions. Of the participants, most (64 percent) are using a single vendor approach for radiology IT solutions; 71 percent said they would prefer to use a single vendor.
Here are the technologies that participants said they would like to implement within their radiology departments:
· Artificial intelligence: 16 percent
· Clinical decision support: 16 percent
· Image sharing: 15 percent
· Analytics: 15 percent
· Enterprise imaging (other departments going digital): 12 percent.
· Cloud architecture: 9 percent
· Integration solutions: 9 percent
· Zero footprint viewer: 6 percent
· Other: 2 percent
