Seven recent health information technology vendor contracts and go-lives:
1. IBM Watson Health Imaging's Patient Synopsis went live at Hardin Memorial Health in Elizabethtown, Ky., on May 6, making the health system the first to implement the artificial intelligence-powered software.
2. Oklahoma City-based Oklahoma Spine Hospital will implement Evident's cloud-based EHR system Thrive by the fourth quarter of 2019.
3. Fayetteville, N.C.-based Cape Fear Valley Health System went live on an Epic EHR May 3.
4. The Connecticut Department of Social Services has selected HBI Solutions' Spotlight Analytics platform to provide analytical insights into the needs and overall health of the Medicaid population, HBI announced on May 7.
5. ProMedica Coldwater (Mich.) Regional Hospital implemented an Epic EHR.
6. The California Emergency Medical Services Authority granted Manifest MedEx, the state's nonprofit health data network, $4.9 million to create a health information exchange between emergency ambulance service providers and hospitals.
7. Hazard, Ky.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare System will launch Advanced ICU Care's remote monitoring technology for intensive care unit patients across all 12 of its hospitals.
