The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced within the past week.
1. A new service agreement between athenahealth and physician service organization TeamPraxis will enable TeamPraxisto leverage athenahealth's offerings in its physician practices.
2. Boston Children's Hospital implemented Prodigo Solutions' supply cost management solution into its purchasing operations.
3. Chicago-based Presence Health selected Prodigo Solutions' supply cost management solution to reduce supply chain costs and optimize contract compliance.
4. Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, Vt., chose MEDHOST's emergency department information system to streamline workflows and patient throughput.
5. Get Real Health signed a contract with the Swedish government to provide electronic health records and personal health accounts to Swedish citizens using the company's patient engagement platform called InstantPHR.
6. Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Healthcare selected Wellpepper's mobile patient engagement platform for patients with migraines to communicate with Sentara neurologists.
