Here are five health systems that launched, expanded or announced plans to launch a remote patient monitoring program:
- Renton, Wash.-based Providence is rolling out remote patient monitoring across its seven-state footprint. The health system is working with health tech company Cadence, whose platform combines virtual care with remote vitals monitoring from a nurse practitioner-led clinical team.
- UC Davis Health partnered with digital health company Propeller Health to provide patients who have asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with a new remote monitoring program that can provide personalized treatments.
- Best Buy reported that its remote patient monitoring subsidiary, Current Health, now works with Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger, New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System and New York City-based NYU Langone Health.
