Revenue cycle technology companies Waystar and Connance are combining operations to expand their offerings for the healthcare industry.
Four things to know:
1. Waystar and Connance announced the combined company Sept. 17.
2. Waystar's platform aims to streamline claims management and patient billing and collection. Connance's solution aims to address challenges of increasing patient financial responsibility and patient propensity-to-pay and social determinant predictive analytics, along with vendor management software.
3. Waystar and Connance together serve more than 450,000 providers, 22,000 healthcare organizations and 750 health systems and hospitals.
4. The combined company will operate under the name Waystar, with offices in Louisville, Ky., Chicago, Atlanta and Boston.
