Whidbey General Hospital in Coupeville, Wash., has revealed the plans for its upcoming expansion project, according to a report from the South Whidbey Record.
The design features a new 6,000-square-foot, 39-bed inpatient wing and a parking lot that would increase the number of parking spots from 279 to 315.
Before moving forward, the design and construction — which is funded by a $50 million bond passed by voters in November 2013 — must be approved by the Ebey's Landing Historic Preservation Commission.
