S&P has raised its long-term rating and underlying rating on series 2005 and series 2013 bonds issued on behalf of Hanover (Pa.) Hospital to "BBB" from "BBB-."
"We assessed Hanover's enterprise profile as adequate characterized by leading market share in a modestly sized primary service area, and its financial profile as strong with healthy financial performance in recent years and improved balance sheet ratios," said Jennifer Soule, an S&P analyst.
The hospital's outlook is stable.
