ProMedica eyes $300M in bonds to fund 2 construction projects

Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica seeks as much as $300 million in revenue bonds to fund two expansion projects, The Blade reports.

ProMedica gained approval from county commissioners to receive the bonds. One of the projects ProMedica intends to direct the funds toward is its $350 million Generations of Care Tower, a 615,000-square-foot facility that will comprise 302 beds.

The other project ProMedica wants to use revenue bonds for is its new ProMedica Children's Hospital in Toledo, the system's CFO Michael Browning told The Blade.

ProMedica hopes to retrieve the bonds within the next month or so.
