Northside Hospital System of Atlanta has signed RCxRules to automate and optimize its charge review practices.
Under the partnership, Northside will deploy RCxRules' predictive rules engine, a software package that sits at the front-end of a hospital's revenue cycle and integrates with the existing EMR and RCM systems to automate charge review and correction processes.
"Ensuring that our charge data is clean and administratively accurate before it enters our practice management system will have a big impact on our revenue cycle," said Jere Pitner, director of physician practice billing at Northside Hospital.
Northside Hospital System manages 852 beds at three Georgia hospitals in Atlanta, Forsyth and Cherokee.
