AccuReg is slated to assist St. Joseph, Mo.-based Mosaic Life Care in its revenue cycle management process transformation.
Here are three things to know.
1. As part of the assistance, Mosaic will implement various AccuReg RCM solutions, including Quality Assurance, Eligibility Verification, Authorization Manager, Medical Necessity and Advance Beneficiary Notice, among others, according to a news release.
2. The implementation is expected to reach completion by June.
3. The overall goal of the implementation is to help standardize and automate patient registration across Mosaic facilities, including nearly 60 clinics and St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., according to the release.
"The patient experience begins long before a patient arrives at a physician's office," said Deborah Vancleave, vice president of revenue cycle at Mosaic Life Care. "AccuReg will help us to transform that experience by creating a single, streamlined registration process that is faster for patients, easier for clinicians and more efficient for the hospital."
