Moody's Investors Service has assigned "Aa3" ratings to Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health's following proposed bonds:
- $163 million of series 2016A bonds
- $50 million of series 2016B bonds
- $50 million of series 2016C bonds
In addition, Moody's affirmed IU Health's "Aa3" ratings on $1.1 billion of debt.
The rating assignment is based on several factors, including IU Health's sustained margins and its leading market position in the greater Indianapolis area and the state of Indiana.
The outlook is revised to positive, reflecting Moody's expectations that liquidity and margins will stay strong.
