Moody's Investors Service downgraded the bond rating for Jefferson City, Mo.-based Capital Region Medical Center from "Baa1" to "Baa2."
The rating reflects Moody's view that the hospital will have more moderate margins and cash flow despite recent improvements. However, its relationship with Columbia-based University of Missouri Health System will provide the hospital some additional leverage with commercial insurers and will boost its clinical resources.
The rating outlook was revised to stable from negative.
