Moody’s assigns 'VMIG 1' rating to Partners' series 2007 G-6 bonds

Moody's Investors Service assigned a "VMIG 1" short-term rating to Boston-based Partners HealthCare series 2007 G-6 bonds, issued through the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency.

Additionally, Moody's affirmed the "Aa3" long-term rating on Partners' series G bonds, affecting $80 million of outstanding debt.

The assignment is a result of a couple factors such as Partners' ample assets to fund the mandatory tender of the bonds and strong treasury management.

The series 2007 G-6 bonds are subjected to mandatory tender on June 29, and Partners will place the bonds with an accredited investor after converting the bonds to a second index floating rating mode.
