Medicare enrollment website lacking price comparison tool

A price comparison tool is absent from a Medicare website for older adults enrolling in coverage for 2020, according to Kaiser Health News.

Medicare's plan finder website currently allows users to preview 2020 drug and Medicare Advantage plans and enroll in 2020 plans beginning Oct. 15.

For example, a search may not include a plan's preferred pharmacy that offers lower medication prices.

Medicare officials said they expect the website's total cost calculator to be fixed when the 2020 sign-up period begins, according to KHN
