How millennial healthcare revenue cycle professionals feel about their employers

Most millennial healthcare revenue cycle professionals are satisfied with their employers but are open to new career opportunities, according to a report from LaSalle Network, a national staffing and recruiting firm.

The report examined fall survey responses from 3,500 healthcare revenue cycle millennial professionals. Respondents ranged from managers to executives, and their experience ranged from less than two years to more than 12.

Seven survey findings:

1.  Most respondents (66 percent) are satisfied or very satisfied with their overall happiness at work.

2. Fifty-nine percent of respondents are satisfied or very satisfied with benefits at their employer.

3. Sixty-five percent of respondents are satisfied or very satisfied with company culture at work.

4. More than half of respondents (52 percent) are satisfied or very satisfied with their career path at their employer.

5. Forty-five percent of respondents are satisfied or very satisfied with training and development at work.

6. Overall, respondents identified "learning, growth and development" as the most important aspect of company culture, and 81 percent said they are open to new career opportunities.

7. Respondents identified compensation as the most important factor to them when deciding where they work.
