Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma, Tenn., has started constructing a $4.9 million new, expanded critical care unit, according to a report by The Tullahoma News.
The new unit will encompass 10,000 square feet and will include 14 private rooms. The project will also include the addition of an expanded waiting room, a new cardiac monitoring system and placement of nurse workstations outside each patient room.
Construction is slated to be complete by the end of the year, according to the report.
