For-profit hospital stock report: Week of May 20-24

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest increase, 5.6 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of May 24:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.14 per share (down 1.3 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $123.84 per share (up 0.3 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $22 per share (up 5.6 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $123.09 per share (up 1 percent)
