For-profit hospital stock report: Week of June 25-29

All five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.

Among the major for-profit hospital operators, Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest drop in share price, at 22.4 percent.

How the five operators stacked up as of June 29:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.32 per share (down 22.4 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $102.60 per share (down 3.9 percent)
  • LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $48.80 per share (down 5.9 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $33.57 per share (down 8.3 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $111.44 per share (down 3.1 percent)
