Fitch Ratings has upgraded the rating to "A+" from "A" on Salem (Ore.) Health's following bonds:
- $75 million of series 2008B variable rate revenue bonds
- $39.2 series 2008A revenue bonds
- $111.9 series 2006 revenue bonds
The rating upgrade is based on a number of factors, including Salem's strong profitability, dominant market share, solid liquidity position and affiliation with Portland-based Oregon Health and Science University.
The outlook is stable.
