Fitch Ratings has assigned "AA" ratings to Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health's following bonds:
- $163.4 million of series 2016A hospital revenue refunding bonds
- $100 million of series 2016B/C hospital revenue refunding bonds
Fitch also upgraded the rating to "AA" on IU Health's $327.1 million of series 2006B hospital revenue refunding bonds.
The rating assignment and upgrade are based on several factors, including IU Health's leading market position, broad operating platform and strong operating profitability.
The outlook has been revised to stable from positive.
