Craneware, a Scotland-based revenue cycle systems company, celebrated both a $7.5 million contract with a U.S. hospital system as well as a strategic partnership with solutions provider VestaCare Tuesday.
Craneware described the newly confirmed U.S. customer as a growing hospital operator and consolidator managing in excess of 50 community hospitals across multiple states, reports IFA Magazine.
"We are delighted to sign a significant new customer, which is testament to our position as a trusted partner for U.S. healthcare organizations," Craneware CEO Keith Neilson told IFA.
Additionally, Craneware confirmed terms for a reseller deal with VestaCare, whose VestaPay tech will be integrated with Craneware's medical necessity and price estimation tools.
Under the terms of the agreement, Craneware will offer VestaCare's patient engagement solutions with the aim of automating and simplifying the payment of patient financial obligations to healthcare clients.
"With the rising number of hospital failures affecting all of our communities, it is critical that VestaPay's ability to help turnaround hospital financials becomes known immediately," said VestaCare CEO Tom Brekka.
