After being acquired by Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health, Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Md., has announced plans to upgrade the facility and patient services, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.
LifeBridge will invest $250 million in Carroll Hospital Center to build a new neonatal care unit and ambulatory care center to house programs for planned surgery and other non-emergency services, among other projects.
Leslie Simmons, RN, CEO of Carroll Hospital Center, told the Baltimore Business Journal that the timeline for the upcoming construction and renovation projects is unclear, but will probably take place over the next two or three years.
