Atlantic Health System, based in New Jersey, has signed a continued, five-year revenue cycle management agreement with Zotec Partners, a multispecialty physician billing and practice management services company.
Atlantic Health System includes Morristown (N.J.) Medical Center; Overlook Medical Center in Summit N.J.; Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, N.J.; Newton (N.J.) Medical Center and Goryeb Children's Hospital in Morristown, N.J. The health system's programs include pediatrics, orthopedics, cancer care, rehabilitation medicine, women's health, cardiovascular care and neuroscience.
Zotec will continue to submit claims and manage collections for the health system. "Multispecialty groups face mounting pressures on their reimbursement across many locations, which is why their financial health is tied more closely to billing and collections than ever before," said David J. Law, executive vice president of sales and marketing with Zotec. "AHS constantly strives to balance patient care with hospital registration and complex coding requirements across a very large infrastructure. Zotec will continue to deliver billing processes and technologies that get AHS's physician claims paid to completion with compliance and expedience."
