The Arizona Department of Health Services has created a new website, AZ Hospital Compare, which will allow consumers to search and compare information on hospital charges, cost and quality.
The website uses more than 800,000 inpatient stays during the 2011 calendar year. Consumers can search costs and charges among Arizona's 110 acute-care, long-term care, rehabilitation and psychiatric hospitals by DRG, condition, procedure or all discharges combined.
