The following six hospital credit rating downgrades occurred in the past two months. They are listed below in alphabetical order.

  • Capital Region Medical Center (Jefferson City, Mo.) — from A3 to Baa1 (Moody's)
  • Cottage Health (Santa Barbara, Calif.) — from AA- to A+ (Fitch)
  • Fremont-Rideout Health Group (Marysville, Calif.) — from BBB to BBB- (S&P)
  • Lawrence (Mass.) General Hospital — from BBB- to BB+ (Fitch)
  • Reading (Pa.) Health System — from AA- to A+ (S&P)
  • Reid Hospital (Richmond, Ind.) — from A to A- (S&P)
